Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective October 4, 2026 · Applies to the four AdviceGuy human review services.

Before work starts

Cancel for a full refund before Bill starts your review, including if you have paid but have not completed intake. Email bill@adviceguy.net with your name, purchase email, service and order reference. Do not send card details. Bill will notify you by email when work starts.

After work starts

If you cancel while work is underway, Bill will explain what has been completed and refund the portion of the fee attributable to work not performed. The amount will reflect work actually completed, up to the price you paid, rather than an undisclosed cancellation fee.

If a review is late or cannot be completed

Quick Take: 2 business days. Why Does This Suck? Review: 3 business days. Website & App Gut Check: 3 business days. Product, CRM & QA Deep Dive: 5 business days.

The delivery clock starts after payment is verified and a complete intake is received. Count the following business days, Monday–Friday excluding US federal holidays, in America/Chicago (Central Time). If essential information is missing, Bill will explain what is needed. Any pause or revised scope must be communicated and agreed with you.

If Bill cannot complete the agreed review or misses the committed delivery date, you can choose a revised date or a full refund for the undelivered review.

After delivery

A delivered review is not automatically refundable because its conclusions differ from what you hoped. If it is missing agreed work, materially differs from the purchased scope, or you were charged in error, contact Bill with the details. Bill will address the issue with a correction or an appropriate partial or full refund. Duplicate charges will be refunded after verification.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are submitted through the original payment provider to the original payment method. Bill will confirm when submitted; your provider or bank controls when funds appear. Any mandatory consumer cancellation or refund rights remain available. No DIY products are currently sold; their policies will be published before launch.
