AdviceGuy Terms of Service
Effective October 4, 2026 · Version 2.2.0
What you’re buying
AdviceGuy is operated by Bill Waters. These terms cover the paid AdviceGuy reviews linked from this site. Each purchase is a one-time, focused written review delivered to your email, within the scope described below.
- AdviceGuy Quick Take — $49 USD: A focused written response to one clearly defined question, with practical next steps.
- Why Does This Suck? Review — $79 USD: A written review of one process, experience or problem, with likely causes and prioritized improvements.
- Website & App Gut Check — $99 USD: A focused review of one website or app journey, covering clarity, usability and friction, with prioritized recommendations.
- Product, CRM & QA Deep Dive — $149 USD: A written assessment of one defined product, CRM workflow or QA problem, with risks, gaps and an actionable improvement plan.
Implementation, code changes, live calls, exhaustive testing, security audits and ongoing support are not included. If your request needs a different scope, Bill will discuss it before starting; there are no automatic upgrades or recurring charges. DIY tools are coming soon and are not currently for sale.
Payment and getting started
GoDaddy handles checkout. Review its final total and any applicable taxes before paying. Keep your order reference, then complete the intake and send it to bill@adviceguy.net. Intake alone does not verify a purchase. Use an email address you can receive the review at.
Delivery
Quick Take: 2 business days. Why Does This Suck? Review: 3 business days. Website & App Gut Check: 3 business days. Product, CRM & QA Deep Dive: 5 business days.
The delivery clock starts after payment is verified and a complete intake is received. Count the following business days, Monday–Friday excluding US federal holidays, in America/Chicago (Central Time). If essential information is missing, Bill will explain what is needed. Any pause or revised scope must be communicated and agreed with you.
If Bill cannot meet the delivery commitment, you may accept a revised date or request a refund for the undelivered review.
Your materials and the review
Provide accurate context and only materials you have permission to share. Remove personal customer records and confidential data that are not necessary. Never send passwords, access tokens, payment-card details or other sensitive credentials. Use public links or redacted screenshots; arrange any necessary access separately. You keep ownership of your materials and authorize Bill to use them to fulfill your request. You may use the delivered review for your own personal or business purposes.
The service offers independent observations and recommendations based on the information available. It does not guarantee revenue, defect-free software, regulatory compliance or any specific business result, and does not replace legal, financial or other licensed professional advice. You decide what to implement.
Cancellations, privacy and questions
The Refund/Cancellation Policy applies to these services. The AdviceGuy commerce privacy notice explains intake and order handling. The separate Probe/Meta policy remains in effect for that app.
Contact bill@adviceguy.net for scope, delivery or purchase issues. Nothing in these terms limits rights that applicable law gives you. Updates apply to future purchases; the terms in effect when you bought your review govern that purchase.
